Default Private School - need to pick now!

Okay - so my son has gotten into country day/fw academy/trinity valley/all saints.

which one to pick! i'm leaning towards fw academy or country day...but in trying to keep the cost in perspective - i'm leaning towards tanglewood!

Fort Worth Country Day is non-religious.

I think it comes down to your preference of private vs. public and ability to cover cost. I have talked to at least a dozen parents at Tanglewood and I have never met anyone unsatisfied. I think people regard it as close to the same quality as private school but without the cost. What I have observed is that many people do Tanglewood and then go onto the private school option at 6th grade. That is really where you see the ratings dip. The positive to staying at public is of course cost but it also allows children to get to know the neighborhood kids better which I think is real plus. Good Luck with your decision.
I think the cost at most of these private schools lie between $15-17,000 a year. I am not sure if that includes books, uniforms, all the extras but that is the general range.

Fort Worth Academy is different from Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts. The Fine Arts one is a audition process/ public school. FWA is a private school that goes K to 8th. Great school. We love Trinity Valley. Have been there since my 7th grader started K. Those I know who have gone to FWA have not had any problem getting into their first or second choice school for high school. Have many friends whose kids go to CDS as well and they are very happy there as well. There are many great options and I wish you luck finding the right fit for your family.
