You mean besides the fact that this city seems to be scared of building UP and that our tallest building looks like a big white box with a step design cut on ONE SIDE, which shows a lack of imagination and that we have more parking lots than signature towers that actually look appealing to the eye, which is sad and shows that we are behind cities that are loosing population in the skyline department and the skyline is a joke compared to many other cities in this county.......... so much so that there are at least two threads (that I know of) on City-Data and two other internet forums I've seen that has the topic of how crappy or how almost, half-way decent looking our skyline is?

Other than that, there's nothing wrong with it.

No your wrong because Dallas is in the top 10 largest cities in the U.S,and there is roughly 6million in the metroplex, and Dallas is the main city of the metroplex,So get over it you do not know what your talking about

Why is Downtown Fort Worth so nice and downtown Dallas so run down?
I can't imagine why any city's downtown is nicer than another, other than perception. I don't know if FW has any homeless but it does have its run down areas. As far as shop/eat/do in Dallas, I suspect it's a matter of where you are and what you're looking for.

My parents visited me last week and I took them out to downtown FW. They said it's very pretty and enjoyed the X-mas tree on Main St.

?????

Uh, I don't know what you mean, but the Fort Worth side of the metroplex does have about 2 million, while the Dallas side takes up the remaining 4 mil.

So........
