Where: Trinity Park Pavilion West 7th Street Fort WorthTX
Sponsored by: MusicandArtsAGoGo and the Seventh Street Posse
Benefiting: Tarrant Area Food Bank

On Sunday, October 26 at 11:30am, the sixth annual Trinity Park Music festival is back, benefiting the Tarrant Area Food Bank. The Food Bank is in great need for some much needed donations after Hurricane Ike struck the Houston area. Their pantries have been almost bare for weeks, and the Trinity Park Music festival is accepting food donations, especially peanut butter.

“The Food Drive in conjunction with the music reunion annually brings in hundreds of pounds of food at a time when many people are looking for ways to donate to their neighbors in need,” Susan Frye, Community Events Director for the Tarrant County Food Bank, said “In addition, the event raised important public awareness for Tarrant Area Food Bank and our mission to eliminate hunger.”

Some of the best musicians in the country have come from Fort Worth, and many are coming home to perform for the one day free concert in Trinity Park.
Bands will include: Buddy Whittington, Big Galoots, Kat Daddy, Stymie, Celebration, John Nitzinger, Willie Smith, Edd Lively, Mace Maben, Neal Drennan w/ Rusty Burns, Naked Letus, 4 Way Street w/ David Bullock.

“There were a lot of great rock and blues players that got their start here in Fort Worth. It’s great to see them back here again.” Tony Lee, member of the Kat Daddy band, said “I’m going to enjoy seeing Rusty Burns of Point Blank playing here at the park.”
There will be free food, silent auction, Masseuses, Art and crafts, A Ministry of Monty Python silly walk cake walk, T-shirts, a live auction and much more.
Admission and food are free but donations are welcome. All proceeds go to the Tarrant Area Food Bank.

The 2008 Trinity Park Music Festival was fantastic, the best one ever. We took the Tarrant Area Food bank $2,853.00 and 809 pounds of food. Thanks to all who participated.
