As far as I know AT&T do a monitoring line for just $8 per month, we wanted to get them but they don't serve Springtown. Why not contact them to reduce your service to what you need and go with other company's for you TV, Phone and Internet.

If you can get Verizon Fios, then get it for sure because it is wonderful! If you cannot get it, then get AT&T as they are good as well.

We have ATT U-Verse, but I wouldn't recommend their DSL package. For Internet, we use Charter, they are excellent IMO.

All I know is...I hate having Dish Network (bundled with ATT), and our Internet goes out A LOT (it stops working for a minute or two...then, starts back up). Every time it rains, we lose the Dish! We had Charter Cable with Vonage in our old neighborhood...and, ReplayTV for our DVRing. However, when we moved to our new neighborhood last year, Charter wasn't (and still isn't) available. Once cable TV is offered here...I'm back with Charter! We NEVER had problems with Charter the 10 years we had it. It NEVER went out. I also HATE the set-up with the DVR that Dish has. ReplayTV was SO much better!
