article in today's FTW paper about the Colleyville town council being able to get lease/money for city's acreage but the company froze out the homeowners....city council meeting had some angry people...city said that their offer was take it or leave it for one time only offer...they did not have lots of options...that was Titan/Caffey leasing--same company that did ours...they probably wanted to tie up the well sites since the city has more open acreage than probably most of the homeowners...even if they don't lease the other acres anyone who wants to later on will have to come to them and make a deal since they have the bigger parcels...
I'm not sure, but probably so. We're right next door to that complex. Below is the letter from our Neighborhood Association President.

We just recieved the following e-mail from Dale/Chesepeake:
"In regards to the TCC HOA, we still have a lot of details to work out, but in light of the economic circumstances you are aware of, there is no need for either of us to spend time and money on this project at this thime. To close the loop, any offer we have discussed is being rescinded.
I have enjoyed working with you and will get back with you at a later date.

did the landman writer of the letter really misspell TIME???

so did you get your bonus money check signed--or just sign the lease but not get your bonus money?
guess you know that any new bonus money will be more likely less than 300 an acre...
