Are there any plans in the works to put a traffic light at the junction of Beach and Heritage Trace Parkway? Is there a plan on the way to expand the lanes on I- 35 W in the Heritage area?

No kidding! That beach street and heritage is madness! Everyone thinks it's their turn to go.

They should also put one on I35W exit ramp for Heritage Trace Parkway. It is amazing that North Tarrant has a street light when Heritage is much busier. Where is our elected official?

lol, I live at Basswood, Talk about a busy street. I am in that Dr Horton Neighborhood right on the freeway

BTW anyone reading this watch out for the cops between Western Center and Basswood on the frontage road. They got me and the Vp of sales of Dr Horton with tickets. They get over 20 people a day. They hang out right at the edge of home depot parking lot, it is 35 mph there not 60 lol

You may be in District 2 of Fort Worth. I would contact the city councilman, who is Sal Espino. State your concern in an email and see where that gets you.

In the last election there was a proposal approved to expand and upgrade some of the streets, but it was vague on exactly which streets and when. I do know that expanding Beach at Shiver and adding a light there was included. To me, it only made sense for that to extend to Heritage as well.

The intersection also has unfinished lanes that we could all very well use. That little hill going south of the intersection is short of being a dirt road. Come on, they really need to look at the population boom in the area and bring the infrastructure up to snuff. It will only attract more families/tax payers which in the end is great for everybody!

Or do they just not get it?
