That's exactly right! I have seen stories on the news around the time the red light cameras were being installed in Dallas, and they actually had people viewing the video from the red light cameras watching to see if people made complete stops. Just slowing down while turning right on red will get you a ticket.

Well in Dallas they cut back on the the installation of the cameras because the city lost money because people weren't paying the fines.

Haha I love that one. I thought the OP was moving back to Florida anyways because he hates it here. I'm sure we will see another "Poor me I don't like it here" thread soon! lol!

Anyways, if drivers will just follow the rules and read all the signs, then they should be fine.

I guess he'd love the guy I saw on the news last night - lawyer fighting the tkt he got from the camera - found a loophole and now they may be making all the camera companies get a new license to have the cameras set up! So people that fight them may be getting their money back!

the way to avoid the ticket is just to not speed or run a light--ever think of that...

So Arlington tax payers, guess where your money's going? Its going into cameras, to catch you...and make you pay again! RIDICULOUS!

Then again, I know (before someone comes on here and lectures) that running reds is not the way to go. But $75? with that money I can pay 3 parking tickets. Thats a rip
Traffic accidents at intersections have gone up because of the red-light cameras. Mostly from people rear-ending each other.

A bit dangerous, isn't it? Just to cheat the system (or at least think you are) until your next inspection due date. But I bet you "know a guy" in the inspection industry anyways.
