Where can I get some Tamales?
There used to be a lady on Southside that made and sold them!

Can somebody help me out?

Thanks

I get mine from family in Hurst that makes them but they are done now until the spring

you can get homemade tamales that are pretty good at the Farmers Market in Bedford on Central and Harwood--tasted some there Christmas eve and they were good--

Downtown Lewisville has some of the best. They have been there for many years. They are well know.

I had a boss who used to get them from somewhere off Harry Hines but I don't know exactly.

There's a place on Colleyville Blvd - near the Farmer's Market. On 26 past Market Street heading toward Hurst on the left hand side. They used to set up shop in a snow cone stand, but have now got a small operation out of one of the shops along the strip right next to the Salvation Army or St. Vincents (can't remember what it's called, but one of those places where you drop stuff off). I had some there recently and they were awesome! Spicy pork, mild, jalepeno and spicy beef. Really good.

In the Ft Worth area ........ Fina's on Hemphill has been making tamales and masa for others for generations. I think they make tamales everyday.
Very small rock building on the west side of the street south of downtown.

Lowes in Mansfield - 287 @ 157
The guy who runs the hot dog stand out front sells his wifes tamales every Sat ....... both pork and chicken. They go fast.

I buy tamales at both of these - I've done business with Fina's for over 20 years.
