We are thinking of planning a over night trip to get out and do something. How is the zoo at this time of the year (Feb)? Will the animals be out? Thanks

Many of the animials will be out, especially in this abnormally warm period in February (highs in the 70s). This is a perfect time to go, IMO.

FW Zoo is always fun. Across I30 is the Botanical Garden, and their Japanese Garden is always a treat. Bring extra quarters to feed the fish!
