This place is fantastic. We've been taking our Rat Terrier there for the last two days. If anyone is looking for an EXCELLENT dog park in the area, I highly suggest this place, you won't be disappointed.

No doggie here to take for walks...though I might some day drag the kids there just to see what it looks like. hahaha

I've been to most of the NRH parks though and they all offer something just a little different than each other.

The great thing is, you don't have to take the dog for a walk; they just run free all over the park. They have watering stations, an area where you can wash the dogs, places to sit, and lots and lots of shade. It's actually good for kids if they like dogs, because all of the dogs (and people) are very friendly, at least on the smaller dog side. Dogs are separated by weight.

You're kids would probably enjoy it, it's like a domesticated petting zoo!

Best part of all, it doesn't cost anything (except the taxpayers of NRH).

Oh, I didn't even think about the kids being able to interact with the dogs...good idea!

We are currently renting and no dogs allowed. The last 3 years are the first ones in forever that we've not had pets, so the kids miss them.

Thanks!

Then you and the kids will definitely enjoy it I'm sure. It's a great place. The dogs (well-behaved, because that's part of the rules; they have to be well-tempered - no bullies) all romp around playing with each other and they simply have the best times of their four legged lives. And they love being petted.
