My husband will be working in White Settlement for 2-3 years. Basically we are looking for the closest area that is safe, nice, excellent schools, etc. After researching here I was thinking maybe Tanglewood area? Is there anywhere else I should look? Due to our temporary status we are going to rent but there seem to be several rental options available.

safe,kid friendly place to live
Glen Rose is a great safe place for kids, but it maybe to far for you to driver.

The tanglewood area is a very nice established area. Very good elementary school- not sure beyond that. It's probably not too late to register for a preschool. McKinney Bible Church is nearby- they have a good program. There are also several in the TCU area which is close.
