I am looking for my son a day care in the Keller area. He is 2 years old. Can someone please recommend one if they have had good experiences. Please let me know what i may want to avoid as well. I just moved here and would greatly appreciate any feedback. I have found several in the phonbook and internet and have started calling. Thanks.

I have some experience with Kids R Kids and have friends that still have their kids over there. Last year they had some turn over, but I have heard that they have gotten everything together. I had my daughter over there for a little bit.

I have also heard good things about Primrose, Children's Lighthouse and Premier Academy. Do the tours and make a list of the things that are most important to you.

Default Premier Academy is great!

I highly recommend Premier Academy. I am very happy with them. Our son went there from pre-K through private kindergarten (and still attends during summers) and our daughter has been there since she was 8 wks old. I took a tour of the Primrose (on Heritage Trace Pkwy) and personally didn't care for it. We had a bad experience with the Children's Lighthouse in Arlington and then the person that I spoke with at the one at Heritage (Keller) was rude, so we didn't look at that one. However, I have heard nothing but good things about that one.
Premier Academy sometimes has a long waiting list. If you can get in though, I'm sure you'd be happy with the childcare.

Maybe Children's Lighthouse is site specific. The new one in Saginaw is great!

One of our neighbor's sends her daughter to Keller Montessori and she has nothing but excellent things to say about it. I think they start taking children at 2 1/2 though.

check out My Lil Wranglers in Old Town Keller. The Director is the lead teacher, and she was a 1st grade teacher for a long time. It is a small operation (like around 20 kids) and we love the child:adult ratio 7:1. She licensed 18 months and up. She hires teachers and college kids looking to be teachers. Great operation, great curriculum, but hard to get into. She is usually full. She watches a lot of teacher kids and does full-time kindergarten, so I know she will have summer/fall openings. www.mylilwranglers.com
