know this is pointless post--but it is 230--the storm has finally come through my area and now my cat is outside. He was going in and out all evening because he heard the thunder and then when we went to bed about 12 he went out and did not come right back in...so now I am worried about him

hopefully he is taking shelter on someone else's porch

Great news! I've had cats disappear for days and days. I'm glad your cat came back.

Glad your kitty returned safely! Mine always hides under the bed, after issuing the International Kitty Distress Signal: Mow-wu!!!!

he drove us nuts going in and out last evening--he would hear the thunder and want to come inside but at some point I guess the lightening/thunder died down and he was out for couple of hours--I went to bed first and my husband just did not call to see if he would come in...
I was worried about the hail that was reported out west more than just getting wet...
and when he did come in he was really pretty dry for the rain that was coming down so I have no clue as to where he ran from...
cats are just God's way of keeping humans humble...

That's why they say dogs have owners, and cats have staff.

So glad your cat is safe. There would be no way I could sleep knowing my cat was out in a storm.

Glad your cat was safe, loves2read! I keep mine indoors, otherwise I would worry about him too much.
