I do supported employment for people with mild disabilities. I am currently working with a young man who has accepted a job to work at Cowboy Stadium for all events. He lives in south Ft.Worth near Sycamore School Road. Workers are required to arrive at stadium three hours in advance of event starting time. Any suggestions or ideas about transportation services going to the stadium or UTA, where the workers park and catch a shuttle to stadium? Thanks!

there aren't any public transportation means--since Arlington does not have a bus service and FTW does not run service to the Cowboy stadium

his best bet might be to find someone living in his area working at the stadium

That's what I'm hoping for. FW may start running the T there for $5 round trip, in September. Thanks!

article in today's paper that the T is going to run shuttle buses to the first game--at least-- for $5 a ticket and $5 to park in the downtown lot (remember street parking is free after 6 and on weekends in Sundance--don't know about that particular area)
buses will load about 5 I think it said for games at 7 or 730
am sure story is on the T website as well

I saw that! But, he would still need a way out there for the other events, not just the Cowboy games. It's a great price. Thanks for remembering!

Kymcrombie:

Did you ever find the answer to your post. I work with a company that rents vans to several providers in your area, I am also a Certified Employment Specialist and understand your dilemma. Have a great week.
