My Mom is looking at getting involved in a local theatre group. She is going to start volunteering at the Bass, does anyone have any other ideas of where maybe she should try looking for more information?

Thanks in advance.

doesn't your mom live out in Saginaw--she would want to stay in that general area, wouldn't she?
There are couple of local threater groups in Mid-Cities--one in Bedford at the Boys' Ranch theater and one in Hurst that is trying to rehab the old Bellaire movie theater--very family oriented and great talent---they are always asking for volunteers when we go to productions--acting/set and stage even people to take tickets during performances...but that is pretty goog ways for her to drive...

Ohhh...very cool! We drive all over the area so I don't think that it would be an issue for her to drive. She drives downtown right now for dance classes. She is really having a great time just doing a lot of the things that she has always wanted to do, but never has had the time or drive previously .

Thank you for the information, I will pass it on to her.

yes--this is the link for the Attisan Center Theater in Hurst
http://www.artisanct.com/
and this is the one for ONSTAGE Trinity Arts Theater in Bedford
http://www.onstageinbedford.org/home.html (broken link)

Both of them have productions going on now...Artisan Theater has great musical most of the time--been a while since I have seen something at ONSTAGE...
