So if I wanted to do some searching to find quality stuff for good prices, which neighborhoods would be my best bet? I know where I lived previously there were certain neighborhoods that were wealthier that you could go to the thrift stores and get designer clothes for good prices; go to garage sales and get quality furniture for a few bucks, etc.

Thanks!

check the MLS for higher priced homes--
but be aware that some of the most selective neighborhoods don't allow garage sales due to HOA restrictions
you can check the FTW paper classified
there is map and MAPSCO type code for garage sales
I know that in my old neighborhood the garage sales were well attended--that was in 76021/Bedford
I don't do garage sales so can't comment on quality

My experience (here up North) is that higher priced homes don't have good garage sales. The people who have the kind of tastes and lifestyles that want and pay for fancy houses don't want and acquire good stuff.

Unless maybe it's an old (over 60-70 years) neighborhood, but just maybe.

head that the goodwill store on 157 in Euless across from Trinity HS is supposed to have some good clothing bargains--gets stocked from the Colleyville/Southlake area
76021/76034 are two zips that could have stuff you might be looking for--north Bedford and south Colleyville (maybe the only zip for Collyeville)

The River Trails/Lakes of River Trails? area usually have good garage sales. Its off of Precinct Line and Trinity Blvd. in Fort Worth 76118. We always check craigslist for them.
