Any thoughts on this subdivision and the builder grand homes? Also, schools in the Frisco area and the proximity of a hospital(I work in the health field and do not like long commutes). Also, what is the general area like? My wife does not like the bumper to bumper traffic, so could she go to the grocery store and mall without having to take xanax before leaving? Just kidding about the xanax. Thanks

The schools are excellent and receive a lot of praise. The elementary is Tadlock, it is inside the subdivision and is only a year old and received exemplary rating its first year.

Middle school is Roach just down the road at Independence and Eldorado and new high school opened this year Heritage also at Independence & Eldorado.

Shopping: There is a Kroger that is going to open within a few months down at Custer and Eldorado or if you go west, there is lots of shopping either down on Preston or at the Tollway & Eldorado. Market Street, Super Target etc.

There is construction that will start soon to widen Preston or put an overpass at Preston and Eldorado, that will relieve a lot of the traffic there, however you will have to live with the construction or find ways around it. There are alternatives.

Grand is not my favorite builder. The bling looks good but they have major customer service issues. If you like the area, check out Meritage Homes in Panther Creek across the street and there are several other builders around too.
