loves2read, I drive up that way every so often when I am traveling to Oklahoma on business. Does your husband not like the traffic from downtown Fort Worth to Argyle in the evening? I'm not quite sure of the route that your son takes to Argyle. Is he taking 114? If so, then the time will probably be about the same and if your husband works in DT Fort Worth that wouldn't be an option anyway. Either way, if your husband doesn't like the drive, I would consider it a hard sell.

Your son is fairly accurate if you are comparing 377 to... I35W. 377 IS more of a (modern) farm road. There are some traffic lights and the speeds change here and there. As a "rush hour" route, I would have to admit it is populated. But it doesn't stay as busy as LONG as it would on other major city thoroughfares. So you have to sort of "plan" your trip up and down and you can possibly get a fairly smooth trip.
