We had a very good AC person with reasonable prices. He died and i should have been looking before getting a problem..... but I didn't.

Looking in the Mid-Cities area ....any recommendations?

My first expericane with this company was great. Andrew came out with in 30 minutes when my AC went on the fritz. He had it fixed in under 30 minutes. When this past spring rolled around to get a new unit he was the first person/company I thought about. And was very pleased with the product he recommended. I have refered friends and family to this company. But here is my regret now. Service never came back to my home after I called several times to complain about a high squeeking noise I was told that a part was needed. I set up several appointment to have this noise taken care of but no one ever showed or called. Thought I soon received several calls from A Better Deal stating that if I did not have my summer maintanance done I would default on my warranty even thought it was a brand new unit not 2 months old. I received the same message for the winterizing of the unit and scheduled several appointments with no show from A Better Deal not even a phone call saying that they were not comming. And that was even after I had called 1 hour before my scheduled appointent. I am severly disappointed with this poor service from such a potentially great company. Like I said A Better Deal- YES, Better Service - NO!

You can also try Hawk Air in Keller I think. We've had limited experience with them, but they have been very professional (on time, seemed honest, reasonable price).

My husband works for Reliant Heating & Air and has been pleased with the honesty of this company, unlike some other places who try and talk you into purchasing a part or system not needed to make a sale. Their website: Reliant Heating & Air Conditioning – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX - Carrier

I second this motion. I had work done at my house by these folks, and they were terrific. The tech was very courteous, the price was great, and the quality of the work was excellent. Pricing was clear and unambiguous. A+ all the way with these folks!
