Does anyone know what the story is on the new landscaping at Blvd 26 and Loop 820? Is it part of the North Tarrant express project. Or, the new NRH city hall. Which has not even begun construction?
It looks nice. Has to be several hundred thousand dollars worth.

that is not best use of civic monies....

I was just through there a couple of days ago and nothing stood out to me, so I must have missed whatever you saw. Where exactly was this and what did you see?

Loves2read I would believe almost anything around here. The highway is not finished either..lol hypocore. Its on 26 just south of the intersection with 820. The Hooters on the corner, has an excellent view. Oh and they watered last night to overflow. A direct violation of the current water restrictions.

Hmm, will have to look next time through there. However, if it is the median on 26 and not actually right beside 820, then it is part of their Blvd 26 corridor plans where NRH is trying to revitalize the areas along 26 from at least Rufe Snow to 820. I know landscaping is part of it, and all that was decided long before they voted on moving the City Hall and Police to the old North Hills Mall site.

If it's right beside 820, then it would be part of the expansion of 820. I dodn't think they were far enough along on that to be doing landscaping there just yet though.

Several hundred thousand? I doubt it. New pavers and some trees?

It sure does look nice, though. Not sure how or way it happened.

Well there is more than a few pavers and trees. Brickwork, men, trucks water sprinklers and , a guy hand watering over the weekend. project is still being worked on. It started more than three weeks ago. Their working on it on saturdays and sundays. I may be low in my estimate.
