A few weeks ago I even asked the guy at the store what works and he recommended a new brand which made little to no difference. So, what have you guys used that worked??? I have at least 3-5 different types of weeds with the mos predominant being some crabgrass and a light-green, flowerless weed that grows low but spreads like crazy! oh and also another one that grows a little purple flowers.

Your help is much appreciated. If you can provide specific product names, brands and where you bought them as well as how you applied them, that would help the most.

Thanks!
i surrenders to them
this time a year I have the greenst nicest yard. I mow them weekly and they are really green right now

I have found a 12 gauge with #7 birdshot does a great job killing those weeds. Problem is the pop up elsewhere like that gopher in Caddyshack. I sneek up on them late at night when they're asleep.

Any broad leaf weed killer should work. Talk to your local nursery man.

I tried once your way . surrender to the weeds, and mow them like they were a Yard they turn a very nice shade of green this time of year. They take much less water in the middle of the summer and if the turn brown and die early, the less you have to mow them. greening a yard with weeds is easy
