Any suggestions for companies in the mid-cities are?

if you mean someone to cut your grass just look around at your neighbors' yards--I guarantee someone is using a yard service
some people don't like to do just one time or short time service -- they want customer for all the time--
you might have more luck with high schoolers or people who put flyers in your door--looking to pick up jobs in area

If you let your grass get a bit long, someone will ring your doorbell asking if they can cut your grass. It won't be a company, but rather something along the lines of a guy with some equipment in the back of his truck.

Best bang for your buck! No need for a lawn care company unless you need someone to do your feeding and planting for you, then you're looking at big bucks.

yes---we get flyers all the time stuck in our door--
and last fall someone came by and wanted to clean out our flower beds--my husband took him up on it--they did a good job--I was really impressed---mainly because they did not break any sprinkler heads in the process..
