And during the day?

Most, if not all, of the bars in downtown Fort Worth open @ 3, which is fine for their line of business, but I want to throw darts for 20-30 minutes at lunchtime.

Is there anywhere within walking, or Molly the Trolley, distance to the Water Gardens which has a dartboart(s) and is open 'round lunchtime?

Thanks!

For those interested in a place not oriented the same direction as the Rainbow Lounge, the Fox & Hound, downtown, is open for lunch, and has a couple of boards on the east side of the establishment, across from the billiard room.

They are @ Main St. and 6th, in the ground floor of a hotel, but it's not a "hotel bar".

Thanks for the follow up (and don't pay the trolls any mind) to your own thread. I was going to suggest an English pub on Montgomery (I think)... can't remember the name, but I saw some serious dart matches going on--very chill place with great beers on tap. It's not downtown, which is why I didn't post initially. Does the flying saucer have dart boards?

I don't think so. I've been in there, twice, but it was quite crowded both times, and I didn't take much of a stroll around. I was looking for NTN trivia in a place which was comfy, and they didn't have it.

While I'd like to be good at darts, again, I haven't played in going-on ten years. Between then and now, 15 bones were broken, four breaks in my right arm alone (one was compound...ouch), so I effectively have to re-learn. Least the math stayed with me!

There's a Irish joint on, er, um...hold on....

Ah, here it is. The Shamrock Pub. Decent place, a bit smoky but that's expected with no food. A gen-U-ine Irishman owns the place. The bartendress knew to take the time which should be taken pouring a Guinness.

For future reference, in case anyone should search "darts": the pub I referred to upthread is called Ye Olde Bull & Bush Pub at 2300 Montgomery.

Thanks for the update! I was going to start looking for it, but didn't know exactly where to start.

Information update:

Ye Olde Bull & Bush Pub opens @ 4pm.

Looks like a good Texas version of a bona-fide 'pub', however.

Default Royal Falcon

Try the Royal Falcon at Camp Bowie, near the roundabout (next to the Edelweiss Restaurant).
