It is important to keep in mind that the Steelers were the "local team" for WHAG when NBC had the Sunday AFC teams. This station extended the Steelers' reach down into Frederick County, and folks there got the Steelers' games every week for about 15 years. My guess is most of the Steelers fans down that way fit in that group, having found their team between roughy 1980-1997 in between the times when Baltimore had a team.
So Westsideboy, how would you categorize the fan break down in Allegheny County? If I had to guess it would be something along the lines of 70% Steelers, 15% Skins, 15% Ravens.

Well, if you are talking about Allegheny County, it would be about 100% Steelers fans as that place is in PA.

If you are talking about ALLEGANY County, MD The break down between is probably 50/30/20 just considering those 3 teams. Skins fans are on the decline, big time. As another posted stated, it changes as you head west. Cumberland is probably about even between Ravens and Steelers fans, but once you get to Frostburg, you are in Steelers Country in earnest, and in Garrett County the Steelers are considered almost a "home team."
