What're some good restaurants in/near the Frederick area to take a first date?
It could be anywhere from cheap to relatively moderately priced.
The food could be American, Italian, Chinese, and/or even something that might be considered exotic or like a foodie adventure.
Something where dressing casually or t-shirt and jeans is okay.

Tons of places....

Monocacy Crossing - very good food (mostly American), somewhat casual atmosphere but nice if you want conversation

Mariachi - Spanish/Mexican, owned by the same folks who own Cacique in downtown Frederick and Mexicali Cantina

Oscar’s Ale House - can be crowded and noisy at most popular hours but good food and service, casual, big beer selection

Dutch’s Daughter - very nice, very good food, pretty expensive, amazing facility

There are really too many but those above are places we visit frequently. I’m sure you’ll get lots of others.

T shirt and jeans would be iffy at first and last places depending on just how casual you’re pushing it.

My favorite restaurant in Frederick is The Orchard on Market Street. Great mostly organic food. Casual atmosphere.
