70 Shares of SPY

If college degrees count, then my MS in Finance from a private university.

If only physical things count, then a laptop I bought for $1000 in 2004 (which doesn't work today and I'm using a cheaper yet better laptop to type this message.)

I'll 2nd stocks and college degree.

Otherwise it is a toss-up between my pop-up camper and home stereo system @$3-4k. Nothing else comes close. Most of the furniture has been used or hand me down antique. No other fancy toys, inexpensive taste in clothing, etc.

My diamond ring would be first and my Bernina Sewing machine would be second.

But in a fire, I'd save my husband and cats. The first two things are insured....

Aside from nebulous things that I can't really see as an object (shares of mutual funds, lasik surgery, education) I'd say is probably a desktop computer I bought about 10 years ago. I wasted some good buck on car stereo equipment in my 20s too.

quite a few things looking at what other people are listing
1. ex wife right up there
2. farm land~ about $500,000.
3. a crane for our ag construction business~ about $450,000
4. Figuring inflation in when I was 19 I had to pay for a semiload of farm machinery~ good wages at time about 60 cents per hour~ and I wrote a chech for $21000 on a checking account that had $25 in it. Did some scrambling and check was covered before it was cashed!

College degree

If we're not counting that, next most expensive would be...drumroll...being the proud owner of several root canals.
