This is the first thread I've seen where my desired response could get me banned so I better just chime in and say sell the car, dump the cell phone, get rid of cable, and start living frugally if you want to live a frugal lifestyle.

I understand that you are trying to help. I have been there done that more times than I care to count. I can go out but there's more to it than just what I have written. I just wanted some advice about frugal living and got a some people that wanted to judge. Thx for your reply Steph

No one is judging we are responding to what you wrote, the answer to your problems seems a little obvious and the fact that you waited so long to do something (as oppose to when you left your job 2 years ago) is frustrating for some people.

Why would your response get you banned? Do you really think I should sell the car even when it will be paid off in less than 2 years? If you think I would report, you are wrong. I'm a big girl and if people would rather attack me for something I can't help then there's nothing I can do. I'm not that childish and ty for your reply Steph

Ok I kinda understand what you might be getting at. If it weren't for my mom, I'da moved long ago but she wants to stay here cause of her work and I know she doesn't want to be alone so I stay but I'm afraid she's just going to drop and then I'm screwed. I'm kinda between a rock and a hard place Ty

You CAN't afford this car and that is why you could not pay cash for it. What kind of car is it? What was the total cost?

It's not that I don't want to work. You just don't get it.

I got the car when I was still working. It is a 2004 Mustang GT with only 43k miles on it and in great shape. My son wants to take it but of course he is still in school. It also will be paid off in less than 2 years. I should not have a problem getting the pay off plus a little extra. TY
