Has this car been reliable for you? You have a LOT other things to worry about then paying off this car right now? How much was the car?

The car is very reliable. I don't really need it as I could get by at the moment. My mom and daughter both have vehicles but if something happens to my mom I would have no transportation as my daughter goes to college and works I paid 12k for it and I still owe 9000

Guess that's why I posted. I don't know how to be frugal. I was never taught that. My mom has always got what she wanted when she wanted and she makes decent money but owes alot. Never saved a dime in her life but always got us what we wanted or needed. Now I really have no bills except rent, car and utilities. Paid all my credit cards off and now have only 1 for emergencies with no balance.

It is long but it may well be worth it for you because you need help. Are you disabled?

You answered your own question. You don't need this car why did you buy it?

Does your mom drive? Maybe college was a bad choice for her. What is she studying? $12,000 for 4 years of college or one year?
