between 69-72 at all times.

I hate being cold specifically my hands/feet getting cold. I tried turning it to 62 at night but I was pretty much freezing when I woke up.

In the summer I can do 75.

68 during the usual hours I'm home, dropping to 62 at night or during working hours.

I find that the actual temp drop i not much. If it's 20 outside, the temp might drop to 62 inside by morning. My condo is well insulated, and being on the 3rd floor, i get heating from the lower floors. If the temp is about 35 degrees outside, my heat will never turn on and my place will stay at about 70. I sometimes need to open a window in the evening to get a little cool air inside.

My gas bill is $30/month in the winter ($15-20 in summer). Cost isn't really much of a concern, so i set it to where i'm comfortable and just want to keep the heat off when not home. My building is brand new, and energy efficient.

Usually keep the temperature set at 69 during the winter and 74 during the summer. Will turn off the heat/AC during the day when at work and we are always amazed at how little the temp drops even on days when the temp is -17.

I have oil heat and it is very expensive. I keep it 62-65 during the day and 58-60 at night. Sometimes I get a little wimpy and put on an electric heater in whatever room I'm in, especially if I have friends over.

When I leave the house, I turn it back down to 59. As long as you put a few warm, thick blankets over you, you'll be sufficiently warm while you sleep. Also, sleeping in long underwear helps. During the day when you're at home, just dress warmly; wear pants, double socks, and a shirt and sweater; if your head is cold, wear a hat.
While I am all for dressing appropriately for the season (i.e. shorts and running around in bare feet does not make sense in northern Illinois in the dead of winter, even if you are staying indoors), it will be a cold day in hell when I wear a stocking cap indoors for warmth. What next? Earmuffs? Mittens?

For the past few days, it's been negative fifteen degrees outside, and many people's pipes have been bursting. I'm okay with the thermostat being at 67.

We set ours at 67 in the winter. Long johns, and flannel PJs, and house shoes accommodate us for any temperature difference. Works for us. Summertime it is set at 72-73 and sometimes if we're lucky, we can throw the windows open. I had to laugh after typing that last sentence, because right now it's 16 degrees, and there's 2 inches of snow on the ground.
Come--on--summer!!!

We just got a new furnace and windows this fall so during the winter we keep it set at 68 degrees round the clock. I would be much happier setting the temp lower -- especially in the evening -- but my husband is a big baby and hates the cold. Sometimes when he isn't looking I drop the temp to 67 before going to bed. If we are away from the house for more than 2 hours I will drop the temp to 64 degrees. In the summer I cannot go above 70 degrees for AC -- I just hate the heat.

My elderly dad is living with me, so 73 degrees. When it was just me, it was 68.
