It is kinda waste to throw it away, since the shoe is still in very good condition. But it is not worth if glue costs more than $5 (including shipping).

Thanks.

I’ve heard that hot glue (glue gun) works to repair shoes. I’ve never tried it though.

Find a dog and give it to them. The minute you "stress" the slipper by bending your foot it will come apart. The duct tape is probably your best option.

I know, but no forum is right for such topic. I thought about it before posting, I looked into //www.city-data.com/forum/community-chat/, but it makes no point to post there, since it is a forum with almost nobody there.

It is more about Living related question, Home is somewhat close to Living. I cannot post it under Auto, Finance, etc.

My consuming habit is: buy less quantity, buy good quality, so the products can last long without being replaced frequently. A lot of people buy a lot of unneeded things, which are thrown away in the end, sometimes just because stuff is so cheap when comparing to salary. I recycle quite some kitchen waste, I recycle yard waste/leaves, etc, I try very hard not to "contribute" too much trash.

For such slipper, I don't want it be disposed as trash, especially it cannot recycled.
