There are no Motel 6s on the Strip. One is on the Boulder Highway, and two are just off the Strip. I have stayed at them all. They were clean then, but that was over 20 years ago. I'm sure they are probably showing their age. My best guess is that you stayed on the Boulder Highway. Yeah, that neighborhood is... let's say colorful. Mostly red and blue, from the flashing lights on police cars everywhere.
