thought you might like to see this. this is last year's garden, I haven't planted my tomatoes yet this year.
my bichon, Kramer, loves to pluck 3 or 4 grape or cherry tomatoes daily and eat them. and since I have a dog door, I sometimes come home to random tomatoes in my living room
I have two bichons and they love tomatos. I had to put up a fence around my plants so that I got to enjoy the tomatos too! I now give each of my "girls" 1/2 a cherry tomato instead of a treat. They love it.
I was reading about the ph of tomatos (4.6) and an article about eliminating red stains from the bichon's tears. That article suggested 1/2 tsp of vinegar in the water. vinegar is 2.4 ph. I am wondering if over time the tomatos will help or hurt the red tear staining problem. Any ideas?
A friend of my has a Daschund that loves to get into their tomato plants. They couldn't figure out why tomato seedlings were sprouting up all over their yard. Well, they figured it out and now have tons of "poo-matoes" to share.
my bichon will eat EVERYTHING that is dropped on the kitchen floor. Even onion, pickles.you name it it's gone and then stands on the front on the dishwasher and licks the plates. We call her PreWash.
