I'm a complete amateur in gardening. Just moved to a new place and there are several flower beds. I can't identify much more than irises, poppies and lillies. Can anyone identify these for me?
It's entirely possible that some are weeds...I have weeded the beds and for all I know, I may have pulled the flowers and left the weeds.
The 8th picture is a close-up of the 7th; I have three of these bushy things and a lot of the leaves have little holes. Not sure what I can or should do about that.
Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks!

The hibiscus is a magnet for inchworms, that's what is probably chewing the leaves. Doesn't impact the blooms.
Wow, you guys are awesome. I have so much to learn, it is overwhelming (and exciting). I wish I could have spent a couple of hours with whoever planted all these. The person we bought the home from was renting it out, and he said the tenant two tenants ago planted all this stuff. I can't believe someone put all this work into a rental. There are several flower beds (seven I think). Two of them have poison ivy in them and are totally overgrown so unfortunately, all we know to do is to spray the poison ivy with weed killer, which no doubt will kill some of the flowers, too.
I'm so excited to possibly know what #7,8 is. In spring there were a bunch of dead branch-like things; we trimmed them out. I strongly suspected (in my ignorance) that they were weeds, but a friend pointed out that there were three of these plants, evenly spaced, so more than likely someone planted them. So I should not worry about the holes in some of the leaves, or should I do anything in particular to them? (pesticide, something else?)
#2 is definitely russian sage; I pulled up close-up images online and it is exactly the same. So glad to have identified this, I think it is beautiful. The purple-blue blooms just started coming out in the past couple of weeks. The plant growing in front of #2, which is #1, is really big and it annoys me. It is starting to get small white flowers. It seems to be squishing #2, the russian sage. I will give it a few more weeks but I am really tempted to just pull it out.
