We have had beans twice in the past 5 days, I picked more squash today for dinner and yes, my first 3 tomatoes plus the cherry tomatoes. Now, if the cukes mature according to the number of tiny babies I have, oh God help us. Our church is asking for fresh produce for our food pantry. They may get a heck of a lot more than they had hoped for.

well if you were my neighbor I would gladly share and I would offer you a glass of tea or wine. We could share our views on life and ***** because the summer is already way above normal. Of course that is why I can pick so soon. We are living with August weather...

I'm still waiting ... if you don't count the lettuce and herbs ... but I planted late this year. The 'maters are coming along nicely, and the peppers are about two inches long.

that would be very nice

it's been hotter than the dickens here too, definitely august-like temps. i'd probably be seeing the benefits of the heat too if i'd gotten my stuff in the ground sooner.
