Hi all,
I am wondering what are some hardy feather palms for the Pacific Northwest that I can try in my backyard. I already have 2 windmill palms and want to try a feather palm...I live in Vancouver, BC - USDA hardiness zone 8a. Any help or suggestions would be great.
Thanks

A Pindo palm will most likely be your best bet.

I second the Pindo Palm. You might also try a Mule Palm which is a Pindo x Queen hybrid.

If you provide this palm (native to Taiwan) with the warmest winter spot in your garden, you will be rewarded with a choice-looking "tropical looking" cool-winter zone feather palm.

So, meet the *Sugar Palm!
