I concur - that's a lychee. It is probably growing illegally, btw...
it looks like lychee on the out side, but it is not. Lychees flesh are firm milky white colour, large black/brown seed. they are delicious.
I was going to say this. We have lychees here in Florida although they are very cold sensitive. Very good fruit.
