The 2 Lowes near us had a rack of clearance-horrible-just about dead! No bargains to be found.

We went to a Home Depot about 20 minutes away-less populated area and had the best luck there-found plants that looked really good.

A few weeks ago at HD got some really nice large rhodies for $8.00-now the same size is $34.00!
I think clearance around here is over as the Big Box stores are fall ready.
