I live in Northeast Ohio. I bought a new home, is it too late to have the grass planted? The yard was cleared with a bobcat/auto rake. Has not been rockhounded because of the rain over the last week. Now that its about dry, I'd like to get the grass planted....should I wait until spring? Thanks

Its probably too late. Here in Erie, we stopped planting at the end of September. I would suggest though that you get some quick germinating rye grass and plant that. The purpose is to hold your soil in place over the winter. Come spring, buy some good quality seed and do your yard.
