Did it this year. I thought those things were supposed to gradually degrade into the ground-? The only thing ours has done is lose its green color. And I can't pull it up because the grass grew up through it (ie by design) and I'd be ripping out a lot of the new grass. What the-?

how long has it been planted, I would figure it would take several if not 6 months for it to decompose-just guessing here but that seems realistic

No personal exp in using that, but we had a total water system re-do here on the Mtn, and the
contractor used the grass mat product extensively along roads/ditches; a year later, most of the
mat is still there, like Velcro. I suspect if the mat is "planted" deeper/covered with soil, it disappears
better, over time. Other than use on steep slopes or odd cambered areas, it would not be my pick
for growing grass in more "normal" areas.
