Enjoying the pictures! Rain/sleet mixture for tomorrow with possible snow overnight! Geesh, enough already!

I check my flower beds every day and things are peeking through, a tad early! I'm looking for the crocus they are so cute when they peek through snow!

I have to get a handle on the primrose, I pulled some runners last fall but they're back, tough little dudes!

Default So pretty!

My husband and I were out driving yesterday afternoon and I saw this. I couldn't resist taking the picture. I must have looked like some sort of crazed person. I got out of my car with TWO cameras in hand! Got down on the ground and took some pictures with my digital camera and then took one picture with the camera on my cell phone. I'm using it as wallpaper on my phone now! This one was taken with my phone.

Our very first storm of the season left us with 17 inches. Spring will be extra appreciated this year.
It got up to about 52 on Saturday in my community (NW Indiana), but only the upper 40s on Sunday, with strong winds and heavy rain at times. Today we're supposed to have a high in the low 60s - a real treat - but then, later in the week we're supposed to have a few days with highs only in the upper 30s, plus possible snow showers. I hate that. Once we get a 60-degree day, I'm ready for spring. At least I have my little snowdrops, which bloom right through the snow......a promise of spring to come.

Wow, I love that salmon color, LL! I'd have taken pictures, too, and looked silly doing it. Sometimes we have to suffer for the sake of our art!

LOL, I don't know if I'd go quite so far as to call my pictures art. I don't think I have a bit of artistic talent in me. I just take pictures of whatever might strike me as attractive or funny or cute.

I don't do so well at pictures of people and I've discovered that I take WAY TOO MANY photos of our dogs (but that's best discussed in another forum). I'm just a sucker for cute!

About a week ago, we had gorgeous weather that had me hoping to get out and get some things planted in the vegetable garden. I'm glad I didn't though, since yesterday we received about 2 1/2 feet of snow - the most we've had in any single storm all winter (though technically I guess it is finally spring).

I'm ready to get started in the garden, but I don't think the weather's quite ready to cooperate. I'm looking forward to getting the veggies going!

Bummer, at least the 12-15" totals will be north of me, I hope!

They're predicting a rain and snow mix for us the next couple of nights. But I guess that's better than what you folks are getting. Ugh! Aren't we ALL ready for spring now?

Default More from Virginia Beach

These are some cherry tree blossoms that were white when I took this picture. Today, two days later, the whole tree is a very light, pale pink! I haven't taken a picture of the pink blossoms yet.
