Well if that's what you want, good luck!!

Just don't try to plant anything else there this year The soil is going to be "contaminated"...

BULLCRAP- is a natural fertilizer. FUD, FUD, FUD

I been planting in landscapes treated with roundup since they came out with the product retail. As long as you wait for about a week so any moisture won't reactive the chemical and cause plant burns. The product breaks down into harmless carbon dioxide and nitrogen within a few days upon contact with the soil. It is fully water soluble.

Other than that. spray away.

The best thing I have found for weeds is a hoe.

Well... Lowe's had an online sale on Round Up for $2.50 + tax for 24 oz spray... I bought 5 of them and started spraying them a couple hours ago.... too many bugs to spray everything, will try again this weekend... I hope it kills the weeds, I didn't realize they grow that fast... thanks everyone! Am I suppose to soak them or is a couple of sprays on them good enough... I try to aim where they are coming up out of the mulch...

Treating weeds under two inches is preferable. Anything above a foot tall pull out, it will be to costly for retail roundup to kill especially if you have a lot of them. At my own house I have a pump sprayer with 3 gals of roundup solution. I like making my own a little stronger. Once a week I walk the yard and spray anything that has popped up. Takes me about ten minutes on my 150x125 lot. Thats about the size of two standard city lots. The key is to not let them get big. Over time you'll notice less and less popping up. However in the early summer before temps go over 100 some weed varieties can grow several inches a day with no water.

Its all about the maintenance.

If you remove the mulch and lay down news paper them replace the mulch your weed won't grow back through the paper.

LMAO when did you spray? based on you posts that was only two or three days ago. Read the bottle it takes about a week for the weeds to show major signs of death. That's for the retail stuff. The stuff I mix shows death in 24 to 48 hours. If you buy the concentrate and mix it yourself at a higher strength you'll get much faster results. Again Quick Pro round up that you mix yourself shows signs much faster. Were are you located and I can tell you where the suppliers are that carry Quick Pro. Remember this is not a one time shot that's why its called MAINTENANCE.

You are supposed to spray the LEAVES, not where they are coming up from the ground. The leaves take the poison down into the structure of the roots.
