I just discovered these and love them....have them in containers with Geraniums and they bloom so effortlessly. Anyone else a fan?

I used to love them, too. So easy to (not) care for. They look pretty by themselves in a little clay pot.

I've been growing them since I was a little kid. They tend to re-seed themselves. Enjoy!

Yes, I'm a big fan of portulaca aka moss rose. They bloom continuously, come in gorgeous colors, reseed themselves, and are alsmost effortless to grow. What's not to like?

After reading this thread...I thought ...Hmmmmm...maybe a good idea for the planters by the pool. Its a full sun area that would bake most other flowers. Wow - were y'all right! I'm now thrilled with Moss roses!!!!
