Just a reminder in case anyone (it had slipped my mind) had forgotten, the Sixth Annual World Naked Gardening Day is this Saturday. Might be a good opportunity to get to know your neighbors a bit better and hang out along the fence and compare weeding techniques, mulching products and such.

Christina, speaking of chiggers, I have a very funny, but true story. I worked on the state highway crew and one lady on our crew needed to "slip behind a tree" to take care of a little matter. The problem began with her not thinking about chiggers in the woods. She squatted to take care of her business, in weeds, and by that night she said that personal part of her body was itching her like crazy! Not only did she get chiggers on her butt but the doctor said some of the little critters must have hitched a ride on her underwear and made themselves at home any where they wanted. She was off work for several days. Said she stayed bottomless for a day or two. lol |

That is TOO funny. First thought on my mind was this farmer I used to work for seasonally. He kept bugging me, to no avail, to go skinny dipping with him in his pond. He wasn't into "nature", though, he was just an old lech.
