I'll pluck some basil leaves to make basil butter to be served over grilled salmon. A favorite dish - yum!

46 additional peppers, 6 more various squash, 3 eggplant and my first cucumber of the season! My cucumbers are coming on a bit late, but the plants are loaded up. I'll have a dozen within the week! Tomatoes FINALLY starting to ripen, so I hope I can still reach my goal of harvesting my first tomato in July (don't normally get them until mid-August)!

Largest harvest so far this season last night! 123 various peppers, 22 various tomatoes, 7 cucumbers, 5 eggplants, 3 zucchinis and 1 squash! Pickled another 8 pints of peppers (17 so far this season) and 4 pints of cucumbers after everything was washed. Lots of work, but SOOOO worth it! The basket in the photo below weighed almost 25 pounds.

I'm already approaching and, in some cases, surpassing numbers from all of last season!

3 nice tomatoes and a few pounds of pole beans. That's pretty good for a container garden.

Peppers are finally in. All the squash, cucumbers, and heirloom tomatoes are about done. Still getting some new girl and grape tomatoes. Beans are doing well too. Sure hate to see the summer garden on its way out...but it's been a good year.

just herbs and a couple of cukes. We should have more tomatoes before long if the heat doesn't get to the blossoms.
