Peaches! Underripe peaches. LOL

I am spraying the tree w/ repellent and using the hav-a-hart trap, but I am determined to at least taste the peaches before the filthy vermin...I mean errr cute, woodland creatures. I thinned a bunch of basil.

I am eyeing the potatoes and the squash. God willing, I can pick these starting next week.

I haven't picked anything today, but did yesterday. We have tomatoes all over the house. They are not as big as in years past, and I don't think we have even as many, but we certainly have enough, with a huge variety. We have one that is more of a purple with very dark meat. They are also a little misformed or look to be, but boy are they good.

Basil and a bunch of tomatoes. I am still trying to decide if I want to pull the garden out, plant a few things for fall (if I can find any seeds that is, I couldn't last year) or just leave it alone for a few weeks. I still have dozens of tomatoes but obviously, with the heat no more blossoms. I am guess, what I have now, will be completely ripe or close enough that we can just forget about the garden in a few weeks. That is, if I don't decide to plant more. Even my sweet potato plant looks pathetic this year.

That sounds like a heirloom tomato...I love those too...my favorite is Brandywine.

Had to pull out my potted tomato...it had begun producing in late April and now it has given out....also very hot here as most other spots. I did plant another tomato ie patio type, in a basket...now if I can just keep it watered...

I think it might be a Brandywine, now that I think about it. Regardless it sure is good, between sweet and sour and really juicy.
