In our garden I got 2 more reg tomatoes, (really little though) a cantaloupe, also little, about a dozen cherry tomatoes and enough green beans for one more meal. I pulled the rest out. We went to our friends for our last picking before they get back from their long road trip: We picked a dozen jalapenos, about the same number of scotch bonnets, 2 bell peppers, 2 tomatoes, a zucchini that was big enough to make 10 cups of grated z for relish (problem it was really tough) and we picked about 3 cups of raspberries. I think I am going to freeze them and use them this winter. It isn't really enough to make much jam, we are not huge jam eaters and I have already made several jars of various kinds this year. Now I think, other than a few jalapenos we still have, a few bells and still some tomatoes and basil our garden is going to go to sleep for about 6 or 7 months.

Last week I pick a bunch of sweet 100 tomatoes, couple eggplants and some mint. My garden is finishing up, I don't think I will have a fall garden this year.

My friend blessed me with a bucket of tomatoes; red, yellow & white I've never heard of or tried the white. I gave her some purple Cherokee heirloom seeds for next year.

sounds like you hit a good supply. Now you can do a little canning or whatever you want. We are still getting tomatoes almost daily, but they are coming to an end. Of course we have basil and will, for at least another month. I might try and bring the plant into the screened in porch: see if I can keep it going into the winter?

Yep I made pasta sauce & canned it in pints that is enough for one person meals if not I'll open 2. I wish I could bring my patio tomato inside but can't it is ending its life span has 5 green tomatoes still on it. We are getting down in the 30s & 40s at night now.

Kale, carrots, tomatoes, basil, rosemary, avocadoes and tangerines. Chives and onions, too.
