Ah okay, we have a few Asian markets around here I'll try this tomorrow. I'm really in the mood for some haha. So do they need to be literally boiling like all day in a pot on the stove? Or on medium heat, simmer, how long etc?

it depends. i tried a much shorter boil at low simmer for about an hour, and i liked them fine that way. i guess it depends on how mushy you want them but i would try an hour, sample, give more time if you think they need it.
