I third that. I think it might be ‘Longwood Valentine’ (especially if you are in a colder zone like 6-7)-

Camellias Beginning with L

Or possibly ‘Korean Fire’ (not listed in the ACS encyclopedia).

It looks a lot like a Camellia I have seen before but I can't seem to find a good picture of the whole plant. Try looking up Camellia sasanqua "Yuletide" to see if it matches. Here's the best I could find:

Not hibiscus...I saw this at the local library...Camellia seems right...thanks to all , planning to get this plant.

The flower kind of resembles a hibiscus, but the leaves are much different.
