Gas vs Electric lawn mower

Bump. I'm a little confused. If the lawn potentially has some wet spots, is there a shock hazard with a cordless electric lawnmower? It seems like it would be hard to know that all of your lawn is entirely dry unless you've had many dry days in a row.

I'm trying to figure out what kind of mower to buy. I believe my property is 0.2 acres. I'm fine with doing the front and back on separate days.

Actually according to the listing, I have closer to .4 acres although that doesn't seem right unless I have more woods than I realized. Or an acre is smaller than I realized.
