I have an ugly fence between our patio and our neighbors yard.
It should be replaced but we have many trees and bushes in the way, it would be quite a job to replace the fence. So i thought about finding a vine that would cover the unsightly fence. I grew a clematis last year and it did ok, no sign of it coming back yet this year though. It did not take off like i have seen them do. Probably due to our zone 4 climate. I am in Wyoming and our growing season is very short. Any advice for a fast growing, hardy vine or cover? Thanks for any suggestions!

Honeysuckle: Arnold Red (this should attract hummingbirds as well)

Good to zone 3
